TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INCLUSION OF PrEP FOR FINANCING BY HEALTH INSURANCE FUNDS IN BIH
Background
Partnerships in Health is implementing the Regional Programme Sustainability of Services for Key Populations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia , in Bosnia and Herzegovina , funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and led by the Alliance for Public Health from Ukraine.
The objective of the programme is to address the inadequacy of the HIV response across Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), and the Partnerships in Health is implementing a part of the regional project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the proposed goal of grant include:
• Support to NGOs in BiH to roll out PrEP
Tasks
In order to achieve the objective of the assignment, the Consultants are expected to implement the following tasks:
- conduct analysis of existing legal framework documents
- hold meetings with different stakeholders from NGOs, Health Institutions, Ministries of Health and Health Insurance Funds in FBIH and Republika Srpska
- develop recommendations for inclusion of PrEP for financing by Health Insurance Funds in BiH
Period of engagement
From 4 to 13 January 2023 (10 working days)
Requirements
More than 3 years’ experience in development of policy documents in health systems,
Experienced working with different stakeholders in health sector.
Fee
- Unit cost is 358,80 USD per day.
